
Block "O" is a registered student organization at The Ohio State University . To be a member of Block "O" requires three things: That you are a registered Undergraduate, Graduate or Professional student, That you want to be involved here at Ohio State and have a great time doing it, and that you want to be in a group of the greatest buckeye fans ever! Block "O" holds weekly meetings that are held on Thursday nights during Fall Quarter at 7:30 PM in The Ohio Union (check calendar and room for updates). These meetings will discuss upcoming games, road trips, or Block "O" sponsored or co-sponsored events, introduce special guests, and may even include some free food! What would college be without Road Trips? Block "O" takes annual road trips to some of the biggest Big Ten road games. Want to join Block "O" on a road trip? All you have to do is get involved! Block "O" rates how active its members are on a point system. Points are awarded for attending meetings and activities, helping to setup for events, etc. When the time comes for the road trips, the members with the most points will have a chance to purchase the ticket packages first. Block "O" is all about the Buckeyes! It is the spirit of the Ohio State University. Block "O" is not just about football we also attend basketball games, soccer games, and baseball games, just to name a few. From week long events, to concerts, to community service projects, Block "O" and its members are dedicated to spreading the spirit that is Ohio State. Welcome to the greatest and most spirited organization on campus! At the end of the year Block "O" holds a banquet where we give out several awards. The Clancy Issac Award is given to the member that shows the most Leadership, Spirit, and Dedication to the organization. The John Bolte Award is given to the member who displays the most Knowledge, Tradition, and Loyalty. The Andy Frank Award is given to the member that proves to be the craziest, rowdiest fan.
